Pastor Jason Contino and his wife Christine
Lead Pastor
Pastor Jason has served as the Lead Pastor of Harborview Christian Church since 2023 (an elder since 2020). His passion is to faithfully preach God's Word, shepherd Christ's church, and equip believers to grow in the grace and knowledge of Jesus Christ. Through expository preaching, discipleship, and biblical counseling, he seeks to help people apply Scripture to every area of life.
Jason and his wife, Christine, have been married and live in Port Jefferson Station since 1996, where they raised their 2 sons who are married. All are walking with the Lord. Jason and Christine enjoy tavelling to see family and spending time with their grandchild.
Before entering pastoral ministry, Jason had a career with the Nassau County Police Department, retiring as a detective in 2021.
He has a Master of Theological Studies in Bible and Theology and a Certificate in Biblical Counseling from Forge Theological Seminary. He completed the Timothy Pastoral Apprenticeship, where he now serves as a mentor and Board member.
Jason and Christine, serve together in ministry. They enjoy investing in people's lives and serving the Harborview church family.
They desire that Harborview Christian Church be a place where Christ is exalted, Scripture is faithfully preached, disciples are equipped, and lives are transformed by the gospel for the glory of God.
Ray Stuckey and his wife Lorraine
Elder
Elder Raymond Stuckey and his wife Lorraine have been attending Harborview Christian Church since 2022. Ray has been serving The Lord for over 45 years. Ray has been married to his loving and faithful wife since 1983. They have one son who is married with four children.
Ray and Lorraine are both retired and enjoy traveling. They love helping and spending time with their four beautiful grandchildren.
Both Ray and Lorraine serve in many different roles at Harborview Christian Church.
Ray states, "It is with great humility that God has placed me as an elder to come alongside our Pastor and fellow elders to shepherd God's flock. Serving here at Harborview Christian Church has been a joy to see God at work in His beautiful community of believers in Christ. I believe God will be faithful to continue his work as we look to be faithful to Him. The apostle Paul writes in Philippians 1:6 Being confident of this, that He who began a good work in you will carry it to completion until the day of Christ Jesus."
