Pastor Jason Contino and his wife Christine
Lead Pastor
Pastor Jason has served as the Lead Pastor of Harborview Christian Church since 2023 (an elder since 2020). His passion is to faithfully preach God's Word, shepherd Christ's church, and equip believers to grow in the grace and knowledge of Jesus Christ. Through expository preaching, discipleship, and biblical counseling, he seeks to help people apply Scripture to every area of life.
Before entering pastoral ministry, Jason had a career with the Nassau County Police Department, retiring in 2021.
Jason has a Bachelor of Science from SUNY Empire State College. He has a Master of Theological Studies in Bible and Theology and a Certificate in Biblical Counseling from Forge Theological Seminary. He completed the Timothy Pastoral Apprenticeship, where he now serves as a mentor and Board member. As a certified biblical counselor, he is committed to helping individuals, couples, and families find lasting hope through God's all-sufficient Word.
Jason and Christine, serve together in ministry. They enjoy investing in people's lives and serving the Harborview church family.
They desire that Harborview Christian Church be a place where Christ is exalted, Scripture is faithfully preached, disciples are equipped, and lives are transformed by the gospel for the glory of God.
